Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, location, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that feature. Lyon County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's practices govern the query once it is transmitted.

Information sent by email or through a contact form is retained as needed to read and answer the message. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. A message should not include sensitive facts that are not needed for the request.
